The Man, The Myth, The Legend…

Maneframe

1. Who’s your favorite person to interact with on Threads?

@Wendys

2. Where did your stage name originate?

I used to just go by Mark Whitmore, but then I lost a lot of my equipment in a house fire. After getting back into music I wasn’t able to get the same sound.  Also, I felt the new sound was actually better.  I thought about it as well, and noticed that only really really good musicians (not singers, or rappers. I totally get them going by their actual name) use just their name for their albums. I am no Gary Hoey so I figured a band name would be more fitting. I then thought about something that would be a description of me. At the time I was going to do only Electronic Rock (that didn’t last long lol), I fix computers for a living, and I always liked Lions. So I figured Maneframe would be a way to tie all of that together.

3. Favorite band of all time?

Very hard question, but I am going to have to say Green Day.  Dookie was my first CD that I ever bought and if those songs weren’t as simple on guitar as they are, I doubt I would have stuck with music like I did.  It was awesome attempting to learn my favorite songs when I was first starting out and realizing that I could actually play them.

4. Tell us one thing about yourself that no one would guess.

Even though I fix computers full time for past 18 years, I am still a console gamer.

5. If you weren’t creating art, what would you be doing?

Playing Video Games and working.

6. Do aliens exist?

Of course they do.  I won’t guarantee they are humanoid aliens, or smarter than us, but each star has planets.  Those are some pretty good Odds

7. What projects are you currently working on?!

Just finished an awesome song with Michael Mengarda.

Just released a song I did with Neither Could Dylan.

Lastly, I am planning on releasing an instrumental album later in the year that is only collaborations with other artists.  So far, this is who I am in the talks with to have on that album:
