Evolution Of Insanity: Mind Mine

The first 30 seconds of a song decides the fate of the stream.

And, that is evident amongst and across all genres. Lately, I’ve been playing around with remixes and different ways to catch the audiences attention. So, I’m very partial to musicians doing the same. It’s like we’ve caught a thread of the same idea from the ether, and both implemented it simultaneously in this simulation that is Earth.

When I opened Spotify and listened to this track, I shit you naught, I replayed that beginning 3-4 times.

I am not defined by how you feel!”

(I think. I’m like 97% sure those are the actual words. 😅)

That’s powerful. Then, the instrumentation is added. I grew up listening to alllllooooottttt of music. But, I’ll admit, it’s been a while since I’ve dissected a rock song as such. The instruments my dude… whoa. I loved the guitar and the drums, especially the drum fills and the added emphasis on layering the vocals and the movement of the guitar on the track at 1:20 in the song.

The song gives me “‘Ace of Spades’ by Motörhead decided to get heavier and have a super dope intro and outro.” Not the content per se, but the vocal delivery.

& boy, am I here for it.
